“I always think of a Vitamin B serum as the polite, caring, big hearted, strong as an ox, gentle one. You know, a bit like Michael in the movie “The Blind Side” It goes quietly about its business making sure it’s doing its best and nudging other products along to supersede their power, nurturing and strong, appreciative and respectful of those around it and never irritating.
It’s pretty awesome, Vitamin B.
I have two favourites, one for morning and one for evening. Totally love Aspect Dr Multi B Plus, such a great one to use in the AM, as the aroma is so fresh and zingy, and it gives your skin the same feeling, nothing like a fresh, zingy face.:) For evening it’s the gorgeous Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense. This combines Hyaluronic Acid with Vitamin B5 which is the most hydrating of the B vitamins. So it’s extra super duper hydrating, I jump into bed sometimes and think, whoops! I didn’t moisturise, but my skin actually doesn’t feel like it needs anything else, yay, don’t have to drag these old bones out of bed again.

“Normally I use Osmosis MD Replenish, as it has the essentials, but I’ve decided this year to try new products.
This summer I’ve been trying out the Aspect Dr Multi B Plus serum.
I known, I know, surely I use this all the time right? With young kids I normally try to use products that combine multiple steps. This year though I’ve decided to try to make some more “me” time. We’ll see how long this lasts… hopefully past the first month!
I was immediately surprised how much it smelled like orange juice. When I first apply it, I have an orange sheen on my face, and this fades as it absorbs into my skin. Without using any other products it leaves my skin feeling soft with a dry-touch feel. As it contains sea plant extracts I’d just assumed it would have this type of smell, but no, not at all. I’ve been combining it with Aspect Dr Active C serum and have been very happy with how healthy my skin has been looking this Summer.
My skin has been very consistently clear of acne, soft and I haven’t noticed my freckles darkening as they normally do over Summer. As I combine these serums in my hands before I apply though, I’ve been wiping it on the back of my hands and voila – my hands are looking great! The freckles have lightened and my skin is super soft. I used to do this every now and then, but as I didn’t have to combine serums in my hands, I didn’t feel the need to wipe them as much. The silver lining to taking the extra few seconds to pump from two bottles. Who knew! So, while my face is consistently okay from before, it’s my hands that have sold me on these products. Definitely a great improvement!!! Let’s face it, a year of hand sanitiser and constant washing had really destroyed my hands… enjoy!”

“Vitamin B is so important to so many of us. The most common reason, it helps control breakouts and congestion in the skin. I find it’s the ingredient that makes skin feel smoother. It balances Ph levels so my skin becomes an even playing field, in turn giving a nice even complexion.
