Our skin is a reflection of what’s going on inside our bodies… so frustrating, but true. Our wellness product review this week is focusing on ways to boost your bodies “inside” health. In an ideal world, we’d eat a healthy diet, exercise just the right amount and have a stress-free life without any added hormonal ups and downs. Unfortunately, life rarely works out that way…
The reality of modern living means overworking, trying to do everything yourself and not having time. Precious time. When life gets into this cycle, preparing healthy meals can go askew. Our body starts to crave and rely on sugar, salt and caffeine to get by. Getting out to exercise can feel impossible (or limited to 1 hour outside with restrictions… arg!) and our stress levels increase – dramatically!

“I am a huge fan of Osmosis. I love what they do and what they are about. They are always evolving and so their addition into the supplement space has been a welcome one.
If you are someone who checks in on our articles often, you have probably read that I am experiencing perimenopause. It has been challenging, to say the least, and so like many women, I am willing to give most things a go that may offer some relief from some of the many symptoms I’ve been experiencing. My most frustrating symptoms are the hot flushes and joint stiffness. It was almost like they came on overnight, and so I was pretty pleased to know that one of my favourite brands, Osmosis, made supplements that dealt with both of these things:
Osmosis Wellness Hormone Relief Elixir:
- This comes in a water form and you pump 6 or so drops under your tongue
- It encourages the balance of hormones
- Not just for hot flushes, it also helps with hair loss, menstrual irregularities, fatigue, sleep, libido and ageing skin
- This works by adding frequencies into the water. The science behind it is that every part of our being runs on its own unique frequency. You can replicate these frequencies and hold them in water. When consumed, it restores your natural frequencies to work at their optimal best. If this sounds all a bit ‘woo woo’ for you, you can watch more about it with Dr Ben Johnson (founder of Osmosis) on YouTube here. Just to warn you, it is very ‘L.A’, but that is where they’re from 🙂
The Verdict:
- I went off this for a while when I moved, but Julie sent me some more over, and now I’m mad at myself for not stocking up before, because I really do notice a difference with the level of hot flush. I still get them, but they are not as intense.
Osmosis Wellness Joint Relief Elixir:
- As with the Hormone Relief, this is about frequencies, but it also has the addition minerals and gold to reduce inflammation and decrease pain
- Promotes natural repair of the joints
The Verdict:
- Honestly, this one is too early to tell, as I have only just begun taking it. I am hoping though, to get the same result as I did with the hormone Relief Elixir
- As with all the Osmosis wellness range, it is quite expensive, but I believe in the science behind this and because I have had such good results with the other wellness products, I am expecting good things from this too.
I also take:
- Collagen Activator in pill form – this is my favourite. Great for energy, mood, skin and menopause symptoms
- Mosquito Elixir – this wards off mozzies and I love it. Better than using Aeroguard!
- Digestive Support in pill form – I love this too. It adds enzymes to assist in the breaking down of foods. It stops me feeling so ‘sluggish’.
Overall Verdict:
- If you have a particular ailment that you have tried to remedy with no luck, then this range could work for you.
- Always check with your doctor if you are undergoing treatments such as chemotherapy or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using.“

“Menopause, arghh! I started going through this quite some years ago, and although my symptoms never became a major issue, it seemed never ending. I wish the Osmosis Wellness Hormone Relief Elixir was around back then. Within a few days of taking the elixir, those dreaded crawly, restless legs eased substantially, and I even began sleeping through the night without waking to that awful sensation.
Now, it seems I only suffer an occasional bout of the creepy crawlies, and I actually can’t remember when I last had that rising burning sensation of the hot flush, or is it flash? I always said flush, but I hear so many people say flash, so now I feel awkward saying it at all, in case I’m saying the wrong thing, haha. Need to google it 🙂
So for mild symptoms of menopause, I would definitely urge you to give the Osmosis Wellness Hormone Relief Elixir a try, and diminish the creepiness and flashy flushes in your life.”

“I’ve been focusing more on treating my skin recently, rather than trying so many new products. With this review I have researched the best options for Rosacea, as I have the initial stages of it, and my mother has acne Rosacea. Thus, what products can help me start addressing it holistically, particularly as Rosacea is thought to be a gut issue that presents on the skin.
Osmosis recommend both Osmosis Wellness Skin Perfection Elixir, Digestive Support and Immune Activator. These are designed to assist your internal systems to better function, particularly relating to gut and immune response issues.
Rosacea Wellness Options
- Skin Perfection Elixir targets redness in the skin, both from acne, psoriasis and Rosacea. It contains 75 critical minerals that can improve digestive imbalances, neutralising toxins in our everyday environment. It comes in liquid form with a pump action to consume.
- Digestive Support contains Pancreatic enzymes to help us digest difficult foods such as; dairy, fats, proteins and carbs. This leads to an improvement in nutrient absorption, which in turn leads to glowing skin. It comes as tablets to swallow with main meals.
- Immune Activator uses an Oxygen molecule to improve your immunity. This can then improve your bodies ability to heal hyper-pigmentation issues. This is a liquid with a dropper for easy application.
What I’ve trialled
I’ve been using Skin Perfection Elixir and while I have seen a reduction in the redness in my cheeks, I do wish I’d tried Digestive Support, as the more I look at my gut health, I feel this would be the best place to start. The elixir has a pump at the top and you simply give it a shake and pump 5 times into your mouth. It’s easy to use, pretty to look at and has a very mild taste – I can’t pick it though. I have a terrible sense of taste and smell at the moment due to Spring allergies. Great, particularly now with Covid where I can’t “sniff” without alarmed looks and having red eyes isn’t a good look anyway.
I’m a firm believer that many skin issues need to be addressed by healing our guts first, unfortunately when I’m tired I comfort eat. Completely NOT helpful really… ah well. Another issue to address!”

“To be completely honest, I was a little sceptical at first. Osmosis Wellness Skin Perfection Elixir has flecks of gold shimmering through it, that act like a Christmas snow globe when you turn it upside down. It’s the kind of product I hide in my bathroom drawer because I knew my husband would give me absolute grief about it… BUT, it has actually been brilliant for my skin, especially my rosacea. I started getting spots on my cheeks that looked more like a rash than pimples, which I quickly worked out was a form of rosacea. When I stared using this product, it started disappearing. I thought it must have been the Osmosis MD Rescue serum, but when I stopped using the Elixir (only for five days when I ran out) the rosacea came back on my cheeks. It once again disappeared while using. I’m still not certain if it’s the combination of the Osmosis MD Rescue serum with the Skin Perfection Elixir, or if it’s the elixir itself that’s working miracles on my skin, but I’m to scared to stop either one of these amazing products and my skin has never felt better.
When balancing your digestive imbalances, most people will see a change in their skin. I’m a big believer that skin care starts within so I was very willing to give this a try! It’s not a product for everyone, but I honestly say I feel a change in my skin since using this, so it’s a keeper for me!”
