I can’t imagine facing the world without my trusty Aspect Sun CC Cream, it’s totally my Summer essential. Actually, all year round essential! I remember panic setting in once when I was down to my last drop, and it was going to be a few days before I could get another tube, I didn’t have to go into the clinic until the following week, what the hell was I going to do? It’s over an hour’s drive away, I’ll have to go in especially… and that’s when I thought, what if one day it was gone forever, what would I do then?

I started imagining a Summer without my go-to skincare sidekick. The mere idea of facing the scorching sun without the protective embrace of your CC cream, it’s enough to make your skin break out in imaginary sunburns. You envision a world where your complexion is left to fend for itself against the elements, abandoned and forlorn. C’mon woman, back to reality! Aspect Sun CC Cream is not going anywhere anytime soon, appreciate it, use it, love it while it’s here, and make sure you always have a couple of extra tubes in the cupboard, so as to avoid confusion, fear, panic, and extra mileage on your car.”

“I’ve got a few Summer essentials, and because I can’t choose I’m adding them all! As my daily go-to I’ve been using Airyday’s Mineral Mousse SPF. Now, I don’t have oily skin (it’s for oily/acne skin), but I HATE the greasy and thick feeling of sunscreen. I pop this over my moisturiser and vitamin C and it leaves me with that light-as-air feeling, not a greasy feel in sight! I love that it’s a Zinc sun protection as it doesn’t have such a strict 2hr window like chemical SPF. For those of you with kids, you’ll understand your day can be unpredictable. I use this in the morning and then continue to apply the kids We Are Feel Good Inc Sensitive Sunscreen with them when we’re having outside days.

Now, for the days that I want to improve my motley skin I love Skin Better Science Tone Smart. This is a compact SPF cream that dries to a powder finish. It changes tone to suit my skin, which I really need because I have a pale pink based skin with way too many freckles. Most foundations are too yellow for me, but this one changes to suit by skin. Even better, my mum has yellow based tanned skin and it suits her also! Yay!”

“The summer essential that I can not live without, is the Airyday Pretty in Zinc face SPF! This tinted formula is everything I have ever wanted in a face sunscreen. It is zinc based and it is broad spectrum therefore it protects me from both UVA and UVB rays. This miracle sunscreen doesn’t have that yucky sunscreen smell that we all know, it hardly smells of anything!! It sinks into my skin beautifully and creates a lovely blurred effect, it’s a real life filter!!

This summer I ditched the foundation, I found that Airyday Pretty in Zinc followed by minimal concealer and a pressed powder is more than enough! I look refreshed whilst also being protected from the harsh Aussie sun! What makes this product even better is that after 3-4 hours I can just reply it over my makeup!! I would 100% recommend this product to everyone, it truly is the best!”
