“Because I’m 102, I’m always skeptical when brands introduce new products, or maybe you are too? Especially if they already seem to have something for every conceivable skin desire. Cosmedix have recently introduced four new products, and I tell you what, they are all brilliant, and all have their own place to sit comfortably in the range, skepticism definitely unwarranted.
I have tried all of the newbies, but my absolute favourite would have to be the CosMedix Bakuchiol Retinol Alternative Serum. I have been using this every night now for a couple of weeks, in place of my normal vitamin a product, which made me a little apprehensive, as I can’t remember not ever applying a retinal/retinol in my skincare routine for quite some time. But my skin has not missed it at all!! I believe it even looks a little smoother than it did before, (sorry, forgot my age, less rougher) so I’m really excited to continue using it and see what happens. I know it’s going to last forever too, as it certainly goes a long way, you literally only need one or two drops. And what pretty drops they are too, in the Bakuchiol delicate purple colour. It feels gorgeous to apply and feels great afterwards too.
I would highly recommend it to someone who can’t use vitamin a products, and I know there are a lot of you out there. The bonus is you can use it in the AM as well, unlike vitamin a products, totally just thought of that!. I’m going to be really, really less rough, even on the way to smooth, woohoo!”

“I have really like ALL of these awesome products. CosMedix always does such a great job, not just in the products, but the packaging – they’re soo lovely to use!
I’m starting with CosMedix BrillianCy – it’s a vitamin C brightening face oil. As you unscrew the lid, the inside section slowly pops up. It looks rather space-aged actually. This is a clear oil with a strong citrus scent. It feels incredibly light on, quickly penetrating my skin, but it is an oil – so likely loved by normal to dry skin. It doesn’t leave my face feeling oily, just soft and very smooth.
Bakuchiol Complete follows the same as our other brands, and offers a vegan plant-based retinol like serum. This is great for those of you pregnant, breastfeeding or with sensitive skin. This serum actually feels more oily than the BrillianCy, with only a faint botanical scent. It would feel wonderful on dehydrated skin! As well as Bakuchiol, it has Squalane for extra hydration and Jojoba and Moringa seed oil to help restore dry skin.
Lastly I’ve been using CosMedix Skin Thirst. Now, this is a thick gel that actually reminds be of PCA Hyaluronic Serum, but a bit richer if that’s possible. It’s more of a primer than a moisturiser in that it’s rich in sodium hyaluronate acid, but also has witch hazel and lecithin. It leaves your skin feeling soft, but with a very slight matte touch. Perfect for adding your foundation on top, as it smooths open pores and wrinkles for easier application. I would suggest this is great for either those with wrinkles to soften prior to makeup, or with open pores and dry rough skin. I’ve been loving it this past week!
So, that’s three very enthusiastic thumbs up. Now to review the final product, Harmonize moisturiser. This is a microbiome boosting moisturiser, that helps to soothe skin, protect from environmental stressors, all while giving probiotic support. It has a light fruity scent and soaks into my skin. It’s definitely a creamy emollient, but doesn’t sit heavily on the skin. Somehow I feel hydrated by it soaks in quickly with a light after-feeling. I have been particularly loving this at night. My skin feels so soft”

“It’s only my second week working here at The Skin Care Clinic, I have a long background working in a Pharmacy and using Pharmacy-grade products. My go to Moisturiser before starting here was a $4 Nivea Moisturiser that I thought was great at the time, before learning how it worked and what it was doing to my skin.
I’ve been using the new Cosmedix Skin Thirst Hyaluronic Acid Cream for about a week and a half now and I can honestly say I am gobsmacked with the comparison!!
It has a light weight, non-greasy, gel-to-velvet formula, that instantly mattifies and soothes on contact. Great for daytime use under make-up to help prolong wear! But can also be used of a night as well!! 😊
I personally have quite tricky skin; I have excess oil and have copped some pretty bad breakouts recently! But I also still get dry flaky patches around the area of the breakout that drives me insane!!
This made me a bit sceptical starting this at first, as I am already using the Osmosis range specifically for the inflammation I’m experiencing on my cheeks and wasn’t sure if using this at the same time would counteract the other products. But almost two weeks in of using all products together and I’m still seeing noticeable changes in such a short time!! I have noticed my skin hasn’t been nearly as oily as it was before, whilst also not experiencing as much flakiness around those stubborn areas on my cheeks.
So, if you’re anything like me, Skin Thirst would be the perfect product for you! Not only is it oil free, but it is infused with moisture-locking Hyaluronic Acid, (perfect for those dry flaky patches) and Witch Hazel which helps condition the skin and balance oil production (targeting those breakouts).
This is definitely a product that I am going to continue using! Keeping my face moisturised and feeling fresh for the whole day! I highly recommend for young skin, but suitable for all skin types! 😊”
