“I think that I take it for granted at how lucky I am to have all these brilliant products to use every single day. When I decided to review CosMedix Elite Eye Doctor, I thought to myself, that is a really expensive eye cream and I don’t think that I have been appreciating it nearly enough! So I’m going to give it the love it deserves here in my review, because even though it is the smallest product on our shelves, it sure delivers.
So like I mentioned, it is expensive. It’s $225 and when you get it in the mail you may fall over in shock that you paid $225 for something so tiny. But before that happens, let me say the old saying ‘good things come in small packages’. This eye cream is no exception, because it is absolutely jammed packed full of goodness and here are all the details:
CosMedix Elite Eye Doctor
What is it?
An eye cream made up of AGP Complex, Liquid Crystal, Vitamin A, Cococin and Antioxidants
What does it do?
This little darlin’ will reduce fine lines, dark circles, discolourations and puffy eyes. The antioxidant properties improve blood flow and protect the delicate skin around the eyes from free radical damage (like damage from the sun and pollutants).
Who can benefit from it?
Anyone who is looking to reverse the signs of ageing or slow the signs of ageing down.
How do you apply it?
Morning and night. Using your ring finger (as this is the weakest finger and your under eye area is the most delicate) gently pat around the under eye, crows feet and brow bone areas. Careful not to pull your skin!
What it feels like:
Like a little wizard skating across your skin while casting magic spells. Or just like a normal eye cream, but more luxurious.
Is it worth it?
YES! Even though any eye cream is a bit of a slow burn, you will notice a difference in around 6 weeks if you use it nightly. It is important to note that you only need a MINISCULE amount. What you could balance on a matchstick head is enough for both eyes. My tube as lasted me about 5 months and I still have more left.”

Julie’s CosMedix Favourites Product Review
“THE WORD in the skincare industry of the last, say, five years, maybe longer, is GLOW. We all want it, whatever age we are. To have bright glowing skin makes you look not only younger but as though you’re illuminating from within, healthy and carefree.Â
So when Meg asked us to review our favourite CosMedix product, and because I only have two CosMedix products in my cupboard at the moment, this fact has played well into my hands. One of those products is CosMedix Glow, my very favourite mask. I have mentioned CosMedix Glow before in my product reviews, but this time I have done my research (I read our informative website blurb on the product :)) and now know WHY it makes your skin appear brighter.
The tiny little exfoliating granules are from the extract of bamboo stem, which in itself has a brightening effect on the skin, plus it includes Niacinamide and Vitamin C, which I assume must triple the brightening effect! Win, win, win! Your skin is exfoliated and prepared by the stem extract for absorption of the brightening ingredients and after 10-15 min of relaxing, you can rinse off and reveal the glow of your life.Â
The first time I used it, I was most excited, but I wasn’t going anywhere to show off my glowing skin. So I shoved my face in front of my husband who immediately put on his sunglasses.
So give it a go and enjoy the glow, I know you will love it.”

Phillipa’s CosMedix Favourites Product Review
“As you may have read before, I have trouble with pigmentation on my skin. While it isn’t really such a big deal now that I work here, it’s still something that I’m very conscious of… if I neglect my skin care, then I start to notice my face getting redder and my freckles becoming darker. Before I know it I’m a pink, spotty and blotchy mess. I know that part of this is my family DNA and medical issues. They’re things that I can’t change, but I can tell you now that working here has been an eye opener.
Originally I was put onto Aspect Dr Redless, but to be honest I hated the orange look, the oily feel and the smell combined. I avoided it like the plague while desperately wanting the results. Now I’m using CosMedix Simply Brilliant, and it’s – brilliant! Corny hey… It’s very similar to Redless in so many ways, and yet I’m so much happier using it. The colour is slightly darker and I find it absorbs into my skin quicker. I also prefer the clinical smell of Simply Brilliant. I’ve been using it for a while now and I’m certainly happier with my skin tone.
While I’d love to try the new Cosmelan Depigmentation Treatment in-clinic, I’ll need to save up for that. Only working part-time while the kids are small – I think it’ll have to wait. In the mean time I’m a very big fan of Simply Brilliant and if you’re looking for an at-home treatment for pigmentation I certainly recommend it!
