Société Deep Thermal Cleanse – Boost your skin through exfoliation

We at The Skin Care Clinic are such fans of the Societe range. Their products are really underrated for the results that they deliver. I think this is partly due to their packaging (not overly ‘pretty’) and the fact that they as a company are not strong on advertising, which is a real pity because I think anyone who uses this range will see how good it is at achieving real lasting results.

This particular product, the Deep Thermal Cleanse, is a really great addition for those who have normal to oily skin but is especially suited to those with thick, acneic or dull, congested skin. If you are prone to some blackheads and enlarged pores, this will be great for you too.

Societe’s Deep Thermal Cleanse utilises sea salt to gently exfoliate away dead skin cells and natural clay to pull out impurities from the pores. The secret behind the effectiveness of this cleanser is the self-warming clay. You will feel how warm it gets as you rub it between your fingers. The warming agent in the clay allows the skin to soften and helps the keratin to dissolve. (Keratin is the glue-like substance that sticks dead skin cells and new skin cells together).

This cleanser smells very much like modelling clay and it is quite sticky at first.

Sun damage speeds up the ageing process but unlike the rest of our face, the area around our eyes does not have the skin thickness or fatty pockets that help to keep our skin protected. When applying sunscreen, the eye area is often avoided due to SPF irritation or just forgotten about. C-Tetra Eye combines vitamin C to not only repair damage but to also increase our natural SPF. It will also increase collagen which will soften fine lines, and thanks to the added vitamin E, it adds skin plumping moisture.

Targets: Fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, dryness, pigmentation and dullness.

Application: After cleansing in the morning, use the spatula-style applicator to sweep a small amount of C-Tetra Eye across the under-eye and brow bone, avoiding eyelids, then gently blend.

Medik8 Smooth Body Kit – Boost your skin by smoothing your extremities

Because the parts below our neck are feeling a little left out! It is true though, we often spend hundreds of dollars (if not thousands! shhhh…) on skin care for our face, but are happy to just slather a bit of cheap sorbolene from the two dollar store occasionally onto our body.
