Others live or seasonally migrate up North to make the most of the milder Winter weather. Wherever you live, even those with golden summer skin may find it fading away to a distant memory. Our Three Warriors Product Review showcases an Organic way to regain this.
A natural golden tan is often often caused by sun damage that is ageing your skin quicker. This is particularly true if you have pale skin, even if you can’t see the damage today. Thus you might want to avoid a natural tan in the long run. For those who don’t like their skin looking pale or plan to travel and don’t want to stand out, self-tanning is a great option. Not all self-tan’s are made alike though.
Three Warriors Product Review – Organic Self-Tanning Range

When Corbin, the founder of Three Warriors, initially became unwell, he started removing the toxins from his life in a bid to take control of his health. Unfortunately he couldn’t find a tanning range that met his needs… So, as any warrior would, he created his own.
Made from organic, cruelty free and natural products, minus the nasties, this range is sure to give a luxe glow that is suitable for all skins.
We like the idea of Three Warriors, but how does it stack up in reality? Like all good skin care clinics we take our product recommendations seriously, so check out how our testing of the range went.
“I love being tanned, and I tan quite easily, but during the winter when I only have my ‘Tassie Tan’ I get depressed. I just don’t like being pale. Pale suits a lot of people, but I just don’t feel myself when I am.
Luckily, I inherited some of my dad’s’ genes, and while he calls himself ‘The Adonis’ I am not quite that tanned (or big-headed!). So when it’s winter and I’m feeling a bit blah, I like to use self-tanning products to lift my spirits. But when you read the ingredients on the back of tanning products, you will realise how many chemicals go into making you tan.
Three Warriors uses gentle and natural ingredients. I chose the Three Warriors Gradual Tan to review because I still have a fair bit of natural colour and didn’t want to go too dark.
It felt very moisturising when I rubbed it in and didn’t make me itch, which I have with so many others. The smell is fine, nothing really. It doesn’t dry as quickly as other brands that I have used, but that is most likely due to the fact that there are no drying chemicals, which is a good thing, but it did feel a little sticky for about an hour.
I applied one coat before bed and the colour in the morning was amazing. So much deeper than any other gradual tan – more like a straight tanning lotion. It kept all of the colour after I showered and lasted for about 5 days. What I really like about this one is that it didn’t rub off in the usual places, like around my ankles and it didn’t dry my skin out and go patchy.
All in all, I love this, and I will use it for sure throughout the winter.”

“I remember travelling to the mainland in my younger days, ( yes I call it the mainland, what can I say, I’m a child of the 60’S), I was forever embarrassed to admit where I was from.
Historically, Tasmania was always the brunt of jokes because we were way too close with our cousins, which subsequently led to many double headers going around, but hey, two heads are better than one. We were the Australian backwater of genetic rubbish, so it seemed, well look at us go now. We put all our heads together, and now our beautiful state is flourishing, especially in terms of tourism and the production of so many wonderful and diverse products, there’s certainly mania about Tas.
Three Warriors is one of those wonderful products.
I chose for my Three Warriors product review to talk about the Sand Scrub, which by the way, when travelling on Fraser Island, many, many moons ago, and sitting on the glorious fine white sands of Lake McKenzie, we were told by our tour guide to rub the sand on our skin, as it is a great exfoliant. My two brains started ticking overtime, what a great idea for exactly that, someone should bottle it! Well someone did, but with the sand from our very own pristine, Tasmanian beaches, which I completely took for granted back then.
It has a very delicate nutty aroma, you almost have to bury your nose in it to smell anything. I’m just trying some on the back of my hand (this is live coverage), I’ll rinse off, mmm, pretty impressive, sorry, I’m going to have to have a shower, I want to use this properly right now!, back soon…
Well guys, feeling pretty special right now, all glowing and smooth and hydrated. It is really quite lovely, it gives you that feeling of post mid Summer jaunt to the beach, and rinsing off the day’s salt and sand, your skin left feeling refreshed and alive. And a bonus, it’s filled with so many quality Tasmanian ingredients. You have to try it!
I had always assumed this was just a body scrub, but it’s also gentle enough to use as an exfoliant on both your faces. My two brains, blown!”

“I’ve been very lax with my body care recently. Somehow the kids and their daily chaos have taken over. Whenever I moisturise my hands I wipe the excess onto my elbows. Lately, with Winter almost here, it’s been feeling more and more like sandpaper rather than skin. With this is mind I’ve tried the Three Warriors Tasmanian Sand Scrub.
I was surprised when I first opened the bottle that there wasn’t a smell… nothing! Once I started massaging it into by body though a wonderful nutty scent filled the shower. I used it on my hands, elbows, knees and feet – deciding they were in desperate need. Afterwards my skin was super soft! As well as having natural sand exfoliators, it’s full of moisturising products like honey.
I decided to experiment and left my moisturiser off. Sure enough, I woke up with super soft hands. I went to apply my normal moisturiser and discovered my elbows were still soft also.
I was so impressed with this product that I forced my partner to have a hand massage with it the following night. You’d think I was planning to shave his eyebrows the was he was carrying on. He’s a tradie and his hands are typically like sandpaper. He came back to me an hour later to apologise and ask me what the amazing product was, how much it cost, and when I could bring more home. His hands were soooo soft and he was very surprised. When it comes to a Three Warriors product review I’d say this was a winner!
If you’re looking for an exfoliating body product that’s also moisturising and doesn’t have an overpowering ‘girly’ scent, this is wonderful!”

“It’s been a while since I’ve used sunless tan, but being pregnant and feeling (HUGE) a little self
conscious at the state of my figure at the moment, I was excited to try this. It’s an organic product that’s pregnancy friendly so I felt very safe using it. I’ve used Three warriors in the past, but only the spray tan!The product feels thick and rich which I really like. The smell is amazing! It smells like lemon
cheesecake which is a fav’ of mine, so I loved the smell. I have very pale, and at the moment, very dry skin, so I applied a small amount of moisturiser to my knees and around my ankles to try and avoid the tan grabbing to the drier areas.One thing I did notice was that a few hours later I didn’t have that ‘developing tan’ smell, which was great!
The next day when I washed it off, I must say I was a little bit patchy. This is most likely from me not being able to reach my toes ?? but it had grabbed to my knees and ankles a bit. I also liked the colour, but it’s so deep that if there was a lighter shade I would normally switch to that one. I think being very pale, it’s harder to get a deep tan looking perfect when applying yourself.
I’d like to try it again when not pregnant, or when I have a bit of a natural tan underneath. At the moment I’d say I prefer the spray tan version of their product (I actually love it). My albino skin needs the help of a professional.”
