We’ve had lots of fun with our Societe Review this week. We each have our favourites and for a very good reason. This brand has our go-to options for both excessive acne as well as anti-ageing! It’s heavily based in botanical ingredients matched with scientific advancements. Not only does it focus on Ageing and Acne, it’s also great for Rosacea, sun damage and pigmentation issues. To top it off, Societe is committed to only producing products free from cruelty, parabens, sulphates, and fragrance – a truly natural brand.
We’ve seen brilliant results with their acne range in our clinic. Their stand-out anti-ageing products – such as Triple C, Intense Firming and Brightening serums being huge favourites with our clients as well as us. Not only that, but their face and eye sheet masks walk out our door. It’s hard to keep up some weeks! What do we actually use ourselves though? Find out below!

“A couple of weeks ago, Julie sent a huge box filled with Skin Care and a lot of the products that I got Jules to send me were Societe. I have always loved Societe, but I go through phases of using something else for a while, and so I wanted to give it another go.
I am going to rave today about the Societe Brightening Serum. And rave I will – because this serum is really good.
Firstly let me say that I am really loving the packaging. I don’t think that the girls in the clinic like the packaging, but I love colour and the Societe serums all have a big splash of colour on the front, which I really like for my bathroom. The Brightening serum has a splash of hot pink, which I appreciate amongst my other boring plain bottles.
What is it?
Societe Brightening Serum is all about combating pigmentation – something that I have quite a bit of because I am out in the sunshine all the time now, and even though I wear SPF, I have more pigmentation than ever. Especially with menopause.
How it works?
This serum is formulated using a patent-pending inhibitor that targets the enzymes responsible for pigmenting and ageing the skin. A technological breakthrough, this serum soothes and calms, manages the Matrix Metalloprotease and Tyrosinase enzymes and will play an instrumental role in an anti-ageing and skin brightening regimen. If you don’t understand what those words mean, in a nutshell, they are what’s responsible for bringing pigment to the surface of your skin. I have not been using this for overly long – about 3 weeks – but already I can see that the overall tone of my skin is better. While I am yet to see my pigment completely gone, this will take more time. I am going to continue using this for sure.”

“Societe products seem to fly a little under the radar I think, and it’s a shame, because they truly are an amazing bunch of products.
I particularly love their sheet mask, the Rejuvenating Peptide Gel Mask. I mean what is better than snuggling up at night in front of your favourite TV show, mask on, wine in hand, and if you dribble a little of said wine, doesn’t matter!, just mixes in with all the juicy goodness of those peptides and hydrolysed collagen, and changes sheet colour to a gorgeous pink (if you’re a red wine drinker)… happy days. It kind of acts like an adult face bib.
Ready to spoil yourself?
Seriously though, you should spoil yourself on a weekly basis with this lovely mask from Societe, and bask in your reflective glow afterwards, as you will definitely see a difference in tone and texture. These are really great too, post procedure, so if you are feeling a little raw, pop one in the fridge for a few minutes to intensify the soothing effect.

“I’ve been using quite a few Societe products lately. Even with my paired-back routine I still have room for Intense Firming Complex and Triple C. I’ve also been using Prime & Defend after my morning moisturiser, and have a few face and eye sheet masks in my drawer ready to pop in the fridge… ooops. I just can’t seem to stop collecting products. Eeeeek!
Triple C is a combination of 3 different Vitamin C’s in one, so it’s a great way to start your day and I use Intense Firming Complex in the evening before my Vitamin A. That way I’m getting my vitamin C, peptides, hyaluronic and antioxidants each day. I’m a big fan of their products and normally use their Vitamin D moisturiser also, but I’m trying to use up what I have before I purchase more. ”
