“I do a lot of online skin consultations for people who are new to our website, and mostly, new to medical grade skin care. Most of these people have been using little to no skin care before, so the last thing I want to do is to intimidate them with too much choice and a whole lot of money. This is why I usually start by recommending a kit for a new customer. A kit contains almost all of the ‘essential’ skin care products and cost under $200. There are 2 kits that I regularly recommend:
- Aspect Clear Skin Kit. This is one of my favourite skin care kits for acne skin. It is so simple, has only 4 products and can be used on young skins (my daughter started this when she was 11). This is my go to kit for tweens and teens, and even adults who are new to a skin care routine. Super effective yet gentle on the skin, the Aspect Clear Skin Kit will clean the skin while treating and preventing breakouts.
This kit is affordable and lasts a long time.
Aspect Dr ABC Essentials Kit. This is another kit that I regularly recommend. Containing a cleanser, A, B and C serums as well as our top selling moisturiser, this kit contains all the essentials other than an SPF.
The products are in good sizes, so they should last around a month to 6 weeks, which is enough time to notice a difference in your skin. This is a fabulous option to take travelling as all the sizes are under 100mls.”

“Before working at the clinic, Meg kindly gifted me the Aspect Starter Kit! At the time I was a busy uni student and had narrowed down my skincare to a basic cleanse and moisturise morning and night. My skin was looking dull and I had a few small breakouts (don’t sleep with your makeup on!), it needed a refreshing reset. I will admit, I was kind of intimidated by the products in the box. The Kit contains an Aspect Purastat 5 Cleanser, Aspect Extreme C 20 Vitamin C Serum, Aspect Exfol L Exfoliating serum and Aspect Phytostat 9 Moisturiser. What does it all mean?! I had no idea what they did or what order and times to use them. Lucky for me, the back of the box tells you exactly what to do!
After 2 weeks of following its detailed AM and PM routine, I could feel and see a difference in my skin. It felt hydrated and my breakouts had cleared up. My favourites were the Purastat 5 Cleanser and the Phytostat 9 Moisturiser.
The Cleanser removed my makeup, dirt and excess oil which unclogged my pores. This cleared up my breakouts whilst also giving me a hydrated glow. The Phytostat Moisturiser wasn’t too thick, and it did a good job at evening out my complexion whilst also nourishing and hydrating my skin. Overall, I was beyond happy with this Kit, my skin looked so soft and glowy! I totally recommend it to those who want a simple routine that delivers great results!!”
