“Normally I would say my Osmosis MD Catalyst AC-11 is one of my favourites, because I looove the way it feels on my skin, it just glides over and feels so smooth… BUT!! I have, in the last four months or so, introduced lots of the Osmosis Wellness Elixirs and Supplements to my regime, and I cannot stress enough how they have changed my health for the better. Here is what I use and how I’ve benefited from them:
Osmosis Hormone Relief Elixir
Super easy to take, all you have to do is dispense about 7 pumps under your tongue one or two times per day. I decided to try the Hormone Relief Elixir as I have always had issues with heavy periods, monthly migraines and quite severe PMS as I’m entering the peri-menopausal stage of life. Within the first month of taking this, I did not experience a migraine. I was not convinced straight away, but four months down the track, still no migraine, my periods are lighter and absolutely NO PMS!!! You can read all about how they work, in one of recent latest blogs.
I also take:
- Joint Relief Elixir (although I can’t say I’ve noticed a difference with this one)
- Skin Perfection Elixir (hard to say as I have pretty good skin anyway, but clients on this love it – especially those with acne)
- Relax and Unwind Elixir (this is amazing if I can’t sleep or feel a little stressed. I also give this to my 10 year old daughter when she can’t sleep)
- Sugar Detox Elixir (this one definitely works. I no longer have those afternoon sugar cravings that I used to get)
I take a few supplements too:
- Digestive Support (this one has been amazing for the bowel)
- Collagen Activator
- Skin Defense
I am completely converted to the way Osmosis treats skin, with their wellness range”

“My morning routine is fairly simple, though a few years ago I would have thought using a medical grade skincare regime would be akin to reading an encyclopedia. Both in terms of the time it would take, and complexity. I was blissfully unaware of what I could actually do to benefit my skin. Instead, I led it on a downward spiral with just two products full of harsh chemicals and next to no nourishment, and then I wondered why it was not looking the way I wanted it to!!
Now I realise and appreciate the difference that great skincare products, and an equally great routine, can make. That it wasn’t going to be complicated, or take an extra 30 minutes in the bathroom every day.
After rolling very slowly out of bed, remember I’m 102, jumping into the shower, well, stepping very carefully, I always cleanse with one of my myriad of cleansers. I realise I have so many and love them all. At the moment, the one in the shower is one I actually bought for my husband to use, Aspect Exfoliating Cleanser which is a lovely light foamy cleanser. If I am going out anywhere, I’ll often follow with the Aspect Illuminating Polish which adds such a great glow, and I use it all over, except my bum:) (but no reason you couldn’t, if you like a glowy backside).
Before drying off, while my skin is still a little damp, I’ll add a cocktail of serums, half pump of Osmosis MD Stem Factor half pump of Osmosis MD Rescue and a half pump of a Vitamin B Serum.
I have always loved the Aspect Dr Multi B Plus but one I have just discovered, which is soooo nice, is the Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense love, love, love it! A quick spritz with my old buddy Osmosis MD Clear for a more intense serum absorption, and then moisturise. I usually use one with a sunscreen like Aspect Dr Hydra Shield. Because I have been working so much from home lately, and not getting out much, like many of you right now, I have been using the new Societe Vitamin D Complex and just adding a sunscreen if I’m off out anywhere. Being in the Vitamin D deficient state of Tassie, this one is a god send.
So to be honest, I would now probably spend an extra one minute than I did on that awful, historical morning routine. Mmmm…. maybe I could fit that encyclopedia in.”

“I’m definitely no longer a morning person. Prior to kids I’d jump out of bed, full of energy. Now I’m dragging my aching body into the kitchen, before the sun, to feed my determined 2 year old. It takes me hours to be able to say “I’m awake.” So, no, I’m no longer a morning person. With this in mind, my morning shower is like a blissful oasis, in the crazy storm of my kids morning arguments. Perhaps this is why my morning skin care routine is both so simple and enjoyed!
Simple and targeted
I don’t normally have much time between my kids demands, for a long skin care routine. So, I’ve kept it really simple and try to get the most out of every product. I use an enzyme cleanser in the shower (Surface Radiance Cleanse), so I don’t get too much dead skin build up and have Aspect Illuminating Polish for at least once if not twice a week (normally when I’m leaving the house and will put on foundation).
Following my shower I add my vitamins and antioxidants, at the moment I use Osmosis MD Replenish, because it’s all in the one serum – too easy. Normally I’d then just add SPF, but I’m hooked on the new Societe Vitamin D Complex. It’s a lightweight moisturiser that makes my skin feel soft. Then it’s Aspect Dr Hydra Shield (SPF) and Jane Iredale’s Liquid Minerals Foundation (when I’m leaving the house – hmmmm no wonder my foundation is lasting so long this year!!!).
I have a few goodies in my purse, such as lippy’s and colour, as well as balms and moisturisers around the house, but this is my ‘hide in the bathroom for a quiet retreat’, morning routine. If you’re a mum with young kids, I can’t recommend an AHA/BHA cleanser enough. Followed by a decent moisturiser (with SPF if you’re smart) and you’re at least avoiding unwanted ageing from dehydration. Let’s face it, looking after young kids wears you out. Adding a serum to the mix is simply the icing on the cake…”

“It’s been about five years now that I’ve been head over heels in love with Osmosis MD, and their cleanser, Purify, is top of my list. What’s the purpose of all these fancy serums I have in my bathroom, if my skin and pores aren’t clean and ready to absorb the wonderful ingredients I’m about to apply!? I love the feeling my skin has after washing it with this cleanser. It feels clean and wakes me up more than a coffee ever could. Well, maybe the combination of both are needed.
I spent a lot of time in the sun growing up, so second step is Stem Factor (Growth Factors) followed by Societe Triple C, Vitamin C serum. There’s something about these two, that if I don’t use them, my skin lets me know it’s not happy! It’s only a subtle difference when you first start using it.
Over time though, there’s such a huge difference in skin texture, brightness and clarity that I almost preach to my friends about how important it is that they purchase them.
I then apply Osmosis MD Immerse which is a beautifully rich oil that absorbs into the skin quickly and I instantly have that tight, but plumped and hydrated look I love 🙂 Osmosis Quench moisturiser is my favourite as my skin loves any extra hydration it can get. I also like my skin to feel glowy before applying my slightly matte foundation, so It’s a perfect combination.
I’m all about Osmosis MD. I’ve attempted to change many times, as new products are always exciting, but I always revert back to their range. It’s fabulous!”
