I was offered the opportunity to trial this new product from Miessence in October. Me going without food for 3 days – 9 meals? I don’t think so I thought but the feedback from others seemed to be positive so I thought I’d give it a go. Never, in a minute did I actually think I would do it!
Day one – I felt empty, but not hungry. Had a small headache in the afternoon.
Day two – No hunger at all, just weird not actually preparing food. In the afternoon I had a few stomach cramps over an hour, but nothing that really stopped me. After “dinner” I missed the crunch so had 2 celery sticks and somehow they ticked the box. I was feeling quite good, but didn’t want to admit it. J
Day three – feeling very good, not hungry still. Felt lighter and clearer in my mind and certainly had a lot of energy. That evening enjoyed 2 carrots and 2 celery sticks.
Day four – woke up feeling fantastic, ready to eat. Though not hungry still and felt like I could keep going on the FAST. Continued to feel good, like all cleaned out, over the next few days and never felt like I had to “pig out” to make up for any “suffering” I felt I might have had.
The reality was that I didn’t suffer, it wasn’t hard, I lost 3.5 kg, of which I put some back on over the next week. I actually flew interstate on the morning I finished to a huge family weekend Birthday so it was impossible not to eat. I did my best to avoid the sugary carbs but probably put on more given that situation.
For some people avoiding stimulants such as coffee, tea and alcohol will make this FAST more difficult. They are not a huge part of my usual life so it wasn’t a problem to only have soda water and herbal teas.
I fully recommend this program and am looking forward to my new tub arriving so I can re-set my body a couple of times before Christmas and certainly will be after the New Year.
What is it I hear you ask.
